Who is the person you break the most promises to?
That’s right - yourself.
We’re try our hardest to keep our promises to other people (and literally can drive ourselves CRAZY in the process) -
but when it comes to the promises we make to ourselves…. we break it.
+ I’m going to get up and workout in the morning.
+ I will drink 100oz of water today
+ I will send in my application to grad school this month
….. the list goes on and on.
Why do we do it? Well, we don’t value our own time. And we think we will always have more of it.
But if we are learning anything right now - it is that the future is unpredictable. In order to value your time and keep promises to yourself, you have to start with your DAILY HABITS.
One of our best tips? Schedule out your day and stick to it!! You can do this on your phone in your calendar app, or if you love pen and paper like we do, write it down!! There is power in putting your intentions in writing. It makes it harder to quit on yourself!
