3 Tips to 𝘙𝘦-𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘻𝘦 your ✨ 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐞 ✨
If you’ve been feeling extra procrastinate-y or just unmotivated lately... your work space might be keeping you mentally & energetically STUCK 😬
1️⃣ 𝐑𝐞-𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 ‘𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞’ (“that’s what she said”)
A lot of us are working wherever we can in our house / apartment — but it’s easy to get distracted by a barking dog, dirty dishes or your boo playing video games (loudly). Re-establishing a physical space will remind your brain it's time to 'focus' - not just binge watch the Office... that’s for later. It can be a cozy corner desk, your kitchen counter, even an established spot on the couch - just make sure you're not too tempted to nap in it... 😅
2️⃣ 𝐍𝐎 𝐞-𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐝, 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞 (no... really).
Your bed should be a place to unwind — not to stress about deadlines, sending out new orders or replying to 'Sharon' once 5 PM hits. After so much time spent working from home — a lot of those ‘chill’ or ‘hustle’ time lines are blurred... & then what happens? You procrastinate when you DO have to get sh*t done and you can’t fully relax when you’re suppose to be ‘off’ — WOMP WOMP 👎🏼

3️⃣ ‘𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐉𝐨𝐲?’ (orrrr make you annoyed as f*ck?)
As @mariekondo would say - a messy space keeps our brain cluttered... & unhappy! Take just a few minutes to tidy up at the beginning and end of each day — make your bed, wipe off your desk, clean your mugs etc. This 🧠 trick makes you feel more productive from the get go because you’ve technically ‘accomplished’ your first task of the day — boosting your confidence just enough to keep that momentum going.
P.S. Studies show that people who make their bed get more sleep AND sex... sooo do with that information what you will 😉
